- USB Data Cable for Kindle Fire
- Install Team Win Recovery Project 2.0 or TWRP2 by going here.
- Ice Cream Sandwich custom ROM (DOWNLOAD)
Steps to Install Ice Cream Sandwich on Kindle Fire
Step 1:
Download Ice Cream Sandwich custom ROM to your computer from above link.
Step 2:
Connect Kindle Fire to your Ccomputer by using USB Data cable
Step 3:
Copy & Paste downloaded Ice Cream Sandwich custom ROM into root directory of your Kindle Fire’s SD card.
Step 4:
Disconnect Kindle Fire from computer
Step 5:
Now turn off your Kindle Fire
Step 6:
Boot Kindle Fire in to recovery mode by pressing Power button as yellow triangle icon appears.
Step 7:
In recovery mode choose “Wipe” then select “Cache”. Next go back and now choose “Dalvik Cache”.
Step 8:
Now select “Install” button and browse the copied Ice Cream Sandwich custom ROM by navigating through your SD card. After selecting Ice Cream Sandwich custom ROM tap “Flash” button to start installation.
Step 9:
Once the installation process is finished, Tap “Reboot” button to reboot your Kindle Fire.
Done! You have installed Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on your Kindle Fire. Now enjoy new features with more speed.
