Android 4.0 ICS on Galaxy S2 Skyrocket
AT&T has not officially update Galaxy S2 Skyrocket with Android 4.0 ICS, but developers have installed Android 4.0 ICS on Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-I727 by using UCLF5 leaked firmware. We have posted the step-by step guide below to install ICS build UCLF5 on Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-I727.
This leaked ICS build UCLF5 firmware includes bootloader upgrades and not tested yet, so try it carefully; it may contain some bugs and issues. Before performing installation guide please charge you device at least till 50% and make backup of all your personal data on your Smartphone.

NOTE: This guide is only for AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, model number SGH-I727 and don’t apply to other devices.
Requirements
- An AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-I727 running any firmware version
- A computer running Windows
- USB Data cable
- Download and install USB drivers for Galaxy S2 Skyrocket on the computer. [DOWNLOAD]
- Enable USB debugging on Galaxy S2 Skyrocket by going to “Menu > Settings > Applications > Development” and check the “USB debugging” option.
- Disable firewall, antivirus, any other security software or any software which accesses your device.
- Download the UCLF5 firmware package on your Computer [DOWNLOAD]
Steps to ICS on Galaxy S2 Skyrocket
Step 1:
Run the download ‘UCLF5 firmware’ package on your computer
Step 2:
Switch off your Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and reboot it to Download Mode.
Step 3:
Connect your USB Data cable to computer but don’t connect your Galaxy S2 Skyrocket to the other end of USB cable yet.
Step 4:
Click and hold the “Volume Up” + “Volume Down” buttons of your Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and connect your phone to the other end of the USB Data cable. Your screen will turns on, and saying “Downloading”, now leave the volume buttons.
Step 5:
Odin will automatically dtect your Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and will show an “Added” message in the message box (If “Added” will not display, then re-install the drivers).
Step 6:
In Odin window, press the “Start” button to start the installation process of UCLF5 firmware on your Galaxy S2 Skyrocket.
Step 7:
Once the process is finished, Samsung Logo will appear on your Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and a “PASS” message will also be displayed on the Odin window.
Step 8:
Congrats! You have successfully installed Android 4.0 ICS (UCLF5) on your AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket SGH-I727. Now enjoy new features of ICS…
