Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy R GT-I9103 has just leaked accidentally by officials. Samsung is scheduled to update Galaxy R to Ice Cream Sandwich in August, but luckily a user has received the update ahead of everyone else. According to the lucky user he took his Galaxy R to the Samsung service center in Sweden and on return he noted that his device is now running Android 4.0.4 ICS.
Need to know that Samsung had released Galaxy R last year as an affordable alternative to its Galaxy S2 device. The user of the device were waiting for the software update and now they can put an end to waiting, but if you still can’t wait for official ICS OTA Update for its Galaxy R then you can download and install the leaked ICS build IMM76D on your device from the XDA-Developers forum below.
